I am delighted to be taking part in the latest Quit Art exhibition, Layers and Narratives at Fuga Gallery, Budapest Hungary, with my new work The Shard and I
The Shard and I is a quilt based on a discarded pottery shard I found on a regular walk. Through its layers of cyanotype, fabric scraps and stitch, it ponders my relationship with the shard and those who knew it from earlier in its journey and where it may end up next.
