About

Gillian Cooper
Textile Artist
Gillian Cooper has been a practising artist for over 20 years. Following an initial career as an accountant, she saw the light when she discovered textile art. Within months, she had left the ‘proper’ job and applied to art school. Since then, her work has developed into a holistic practice integrating her love of landscape and history, with drawing and fabric. Gillian’s work has been included in exhibitions both in the UK and worldwide and has appeared in a number of publications.
Gillian is a member of the Textile Study Group.
